The bread and butter work. An extra power point where the desk actually is, a ceiling fan in the back bedroom, a light that has stopped working and nobody can explain why. Small jobs still get the same care as the big ones, which is usually why people call us back.
A circuit that trips is a symptom, not a diagnosis. The quick fix is to reset it and hope. The proper fix is to isolate the circuit, test it and find out whether it is an appliance, a damaged cable, water in an outdoor fitting or a shared neutral from an old rewire. We do the second one, and we explain what we found so you are not left guessing.

We will walk the room with you. It is far cheaper to add the extra point while the wall is open than to come back for it later.
